Mason City Schools Strategy
Our strategy to remain a destination district utilizes our 3 Big Rocks: Culture (collectively build an engaging, inclusive and positive culture), Inclusive Excellence (celebrate diversity and commit to equity, inclusion and justice), and Personalized Learning (learner-driven design and learner-driven solutions).
OKRs
Since 2018-2019, Mason City Schools have used OKRs, Objectives and Key Results, to maximize alignment and transparency when pursuing ambitious goals. Mason's adoption of the OKR process is inspired by John Doerr's book, Measure What Matters.
