Members of the MHS Speech & Debate Team are State and Nationals-bound! Students competed at the annual Greater Miami Valley District Tournament (“Little Districts”) at Centerville High School on February 5 & 6, where 27 team members qualified to the Ohio High School Speech League’s State Tournament that will be held locally this year at Princeton High School on March 3-5, 2016.

In addition to this success, team members also competed at the Western OH District Tournament (“Big Districts”) at Notre Dame Academy in Toledo, Ohio, where five MHS students qualified to the National Speech & Debate Association’s National Tournament with their top-two performances in the final rounds of their respective events. These team members will represent Mason in Salt Lake City, Utah, over the week of June 12-17 at Nationals.
