The cast and crew of Mason High School Theater’s Sweeney Todd, the Demon Barber of Fleet Street were nominated for 14 Cappies, and took home the big prize for lead actor in a play, marketing and publicity, props, stage management and stage crew.
Thirty-Two students were recognized for hard work and dedication at the Cappies Gala on May 27 at the Aronoff Center. Cappies stands for 'Critics and Awards Program' and is a national program designed to recognize excellence in high school theater.
